Milwaukee, Wis. – The Dominican University women's soccer team was back on the road in Milwaukee to take on Wisconsin Lutheran College.

How it Happened:
-Dominican started the match firing, with 3 shots in the first 15 minutes.
-Graduate Student
Grace Larson had an effort on goal saved in the 43
rd minute.
-The scoreline would be 0-0 heading into the break. DU led in total shots 5-0.
-The Stars would keep up the pressure early in the 2
nd half with shots from Larson and Sophomore
Mackenzie Cuddihy.
-In the 70
th minute, Graduate Student
Lauren Mark was able to curl home a shot from a free kick outside the box and gave Dominican a 1-0 lead.
-Just six minutes later, Junior
Sarah Matuszek was able to put away a feed from Sophomore
Meghan Wilhite to double the Star's lead.
-DU would hold the lead achieving the 2-0 result.

The Dominican University women's soccer team will be back at West Campus Field on Wednesday, October 23rd. The Stars will face off against the Regents of Rockford University, who are still searching for their first NACC win. Kick-off is slated for 3:00 p.m.
