River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's soccer team welcomed the Regents of Rockford University to West Campus Field on Wednesday afternoon.
 Results:
 Dominican: 9
 Rockford: 0
 How it Happened:
 -Junior Natalia Lopez would start the goal-scoring for the Stars in the 4th minute after putting away a cross from Junior Mia Tauilahu.
 -In the 13th minute, Senior Ava Mascoe-Talbott would put away her 1st of the season to give DU a 2-0 lead. Assists on the goal were awarded to Freshman Ariana Barney and Lopez.
 -Dominican would soon have a 3-0 lead in the 26th minute thanks to a strike from Junior Sarah Matuszek after she was able to slot home a feed from Junior Mia Dosen.
 -Dosen would score herself in the 40th minute after turning home a set-up from Graduate Student Regan Coxon. The Stars would lead 4-0 into the break.
-Freshman Presley Coles would strike quickly in the 2nd half after a feed Barney sprung her lose.
 -In the 52nd minute, Graduate Student Grace Larson fired home a shot from outside the box and extended the Stars lead to 5-0.
 -Just 5 minutes later, Coles would get her 2nd of the afternoon being set up in front of goal by Larson.
 -Sophomore Meghan Wilhite would enter her name in the goal-scoring ring as she beat the Rockford keeper in the 73rd minute. Freshman Abby Szafranski and Senior Katie Norlie were credited with assists on the goal.
 -Wilhite would strike again in the 88th minute after collecting a rebound on a shot from Szafranski, who was set up by Coxon.
 -The match would end with a final score of 9-0 in favor of DU. Dominican finished the match with 34 total shots with 21 of them finding the target.
 Shining Stars:
 -Freshman Presley Coles finished with 2 goals in just 36 minutes on the pitch.
-Sophomore Meghan Wilhite scored twice coming off the bench for DU.
 -Graduate Student Grace Larson had 1 goal and 1 assist in the contest.
 -Junior Sarah Matuszek had 1 goal and 1 shot.
 -Freshman Ariana Barney was a playmaker through the midfield all match, tallying 2 assists.
 -Junior Natalia Lopez potted a goal and an assist in the effort.
 -Freshman Abby Szafranski had her first collegiate goal contributions in the win, finishing with 2 assists.
-Junior Mia Dosen compiled a goal and an assist en route to the Stars victory
-Graduate Student Regan Coxon added 2 assists on the afternoon, making 5 total for her so far this season.
-Freshman Emily Norwick made her collegiate debut, securing the win and making 2 saves.
