River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University men's soccer team continued their conference slate by hosting the Falcons of Concordia University Wisconsin. Men's and women's soccer celebrated Senior Day at West Campus Field.

How it Happened:
-5th-year Student Oscar Montejano would tally the first shot for the Stars in the 8th minute as the Falcon keeper saved the effort.
-In the 17th minute, Freshman Jonathan Almaguer booted home his 1st of the season on a scramble play in the box to give DU a 1-0 lead.
-A few minutes later, CUW would equalize from a free kick.
-The score would remain tied heading into the half-time break. Dominican lead in shot attempts 15-3.
-5th-year Student Oleksandr Melnyk and Cronnolly would both have several chances to score throughout the 2nd half but neither could find the back of the net.
-The match would finish with a full-time score of 1-1. The Stars finished with 24 shots, 9 of them finding the target.

-Freshman Jonathan Almaguer scored his first collegiate goal in the contest.
-5th-year Student Oleksandr Melnyk had 5 shots with 1 finding the target.
