Mequon, Wis. – The Dominican University women's volleyball team traveled to Concordia Wisconsin to face-off against the Falcons who are tied for 1^st in the NACC.

How it Happened:
-Dominican started off slow in the match losing the first set 25-11 and only picking up 5 kills in the set.
-Seniors Melissa Schmidt and Tanya De La Riva each had two kills in the first set.
-DU continued to struggle falling 25-10 in the second set and only collected 3 kills in the set.
-The Stars played their best set of the match but it was not enough as they fall 25-14 in the final set. DU collected 8 kills in the set.   
 

Shining Stars:
-Senior Tanya De La Riva was tied for highest kills on the team with 5. De La Riva also led the team in digs with 10.
-Senior Melissa Schmidt was tied for highest kills on the team with 5. Schmidt also led the team in assists with 7.  
-Senior Adeleen Dunker chipped in with 6 assists.

What's Next:
The Dominican University women's volleyball team will travel to Madison, Wis. On Halloween to play the Eagles of Edgewood College. First-serve will be at 7:00pm.
