Milwaukee, Wis. – The Dominican University women's soccer team traveled to MSOE to battle with the Raiders. In a big time, matchup early in conference play.

How it Happened:
-Dominican came out ready to play like their previous conference games, by scoring a goal in the first 10 minutes of the game. Graduate Student
Grace Larson put the Stars on the board with a goal in the 7
th minute of the game. Junior
Natalia Lopez earns the assist on the goal.
-The Stars kept the pressure up collecting a couple more shots in the half but none found the back of the net.
-DU went into the half with a 1-0 lead and 4 total shots in the half.
-MSOE found the equalizer just two minutes after play resumed.
-Dominican had a couple of opportunites late in the game with Junior
Mia Taullahu having two opportunies, but was unable to find the back of the net.
-DU and MSOE tied at 1, even with the Stars being outshot 15 to 9.

Grace Larson had the loan goal for Dominican on two shots.

Sarah Matuszek had two shots, one of them found the target.

Mia Taullahu had two shots with one of them being on goal.

Sarah Grimmett was spectacular between the pipes having seven saves on the afternoon.

What's Next:
The Dominican University women's soccer team will be back on the road Wednesday afternoon, when the Stars travel to Illinois Tech to face-off against the Scarlett Hawks. DU and Illinois Tech are currently tied for second place in the conference.
