River Forest, Ill- The Dominican University women's volleyball team hosted the Foresters of Lake Forest College Tuesday evening.

How it Happened:
-Dominican was able to bounce back quickly from the five set loss on Saturday by winning the first set 25-18. DU had 14 total kills in the set on 37 total chances.
-After winning NACC Offensive Player of the Week Senior
Mia Febles picks up right where she left off with 5 kills in the first set.
-The Stars continued to step on the gas pedal winning the second set 25-19. Dominican had 13 kills in the set on 36 total attacks. Â Â

Tanya De La Riva collected 5 kills in the set.
-DU got a big boost in the set with 4 service aces. Senior
Melissa Schmidt had 2 of them.
-DU won the third and final set 25-21 with their lowest amount of errors with three of them.
-Dominican faced a 14-10 deficit before going on 6-0 run with Junior
Lola Butler serving.

Tanya De La Riva led the Stars with kills collecting 12 of them. De La Riva also collected 7 digs in the match.   Â

Ellery Shea was second on the team in kills with 10. Shea also had a block in the match.
 -Sophomore Kathryn Ksizak had a big presence at the net with two solo blocks.

Melissa Schmidt had led the team in service aces with 5, digs with 9 of them and assists with 24.
-Junior
Lola Butler had 4 service aces.
-Senior
Mia Febles had 9 kills and 3 service aces. Â Â

What's Next:
The Dominican University women's volleyball team will play their final game of the five game homestand on Thursday night when the Regents of Rockford University come to the Igini. First-serve will be at 7:00 pm.
