River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University men's soccer team hosted the Scarlet Hawks of Illinois Institute of Technology on Wednesday afternoon.

  How it Happened:
  -The Stars would open up the goal-scoring after a great individual from 5^th-year student Oscar Montejano in the 18th minute.
  -DU would take the 1-0 lead into half-time. In the first half, Dominican had 4 shots with 3 finding the target.
  -An early flurry of chances for Illinois Tech was handled by the Stars to start the 2^nd half.
  -In the 83^rd minute, Senior Ryan Gutierrez had a shot saved by the Scarlet Hawks keeper.
  -Dominican would then hang on to the 1-0 clean sheet win
