River Forest, Ill.- The Dominican University men's basketball team squared up against Kalamazoo College on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened:
-The Stars would start slow defensively, allowing 23 points to the Hornets in the first 10 minutes.
-Senior
Quante May would knock down a 3 to ignite the Dominican bench and trimmed the Hornet lead to 23-14 with 9 minutes to play in the first half.
-Some strong play from Senior

Terrell Taylor would have DU down 39-33 by the end of the first half.

Camron Scott connected on an
alley-oop in the opening moments of 2
nd half as Dominican would take a 45-37 lead.
-Graduate Student
Robbie Taylor would add a couple of lay-ups during the back half of the second half.
-Scott would slam home an assist from T. Taylor, retaking the lead for the Stars with 1:42 remaining.
-Kalamazoo would regain the lead and hold it as they closed out a 76-73 victory.
-Dominican finished 30-63 from the field for 47.6% and 7-24 for 29.2% from 3-point range in the defeat.
