Dominican Prevails in High-Scoring Affair

River Forest, Ill.- The Dominican University men's basketball team faced-off against the Panthers of Greenville University for Guess the Final Score Night at the Igini Sports Forum.

Results:
Dominican: 106
Greenville: 105

How it Happened:
-Greenville's fast-paced offense pushed the Stars, as 5th-year Student Andre Bennett and Junior Adrian Pelszynski both made lay-ups to keep DU in striking distance 5 minutes in.
-Senior Terrell Taylor hit Dominican's first 3 of the game 9 minutes in, cutting the Panther lead to 32-23.  
-Down 13, Senior Daniel Nennig layed-in 2 on the fast-break to swing the momentum to DU.
-By half-time, the Stars were down 63-59. Dominican shot 69.44% from the field and were 3-7 for 42.86% behind the arc.
-Junior Dominic Crapia would quickly hit back to back 3 pointers 5 minutes in to the 2nd half.
-Continuing to fight back, Senior Quante May would finish off a nice passing play with a dunk.
-With 10 minutes left in the 2nd half, 5th-year Student Camron Scott had back-to-back dunks to cut the Panther lead to 89-83.  
-May would hit a clutch 3 with 2 minutes left to tie the contest at 101.
-Nennig would finish a lay-up with 18 seconds left to give the Stars a 106-105 lead. 
-Dominican locked up Greenville on the last possession of the game and collected the 106-105 victory. DU finished with a clip of 60.9% from the field.

Shining Stars:
-Senior Daniel Nennig was all over the court in the win, collecting 23 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals.  
-5th-year Student Camron Scott piled 22 points, 14 rebounds, 4 blocks, 3 assists, and 2 steals. 
-Junior Dominic Crapia finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds. This marks Crapia's first double-double of the season.
-Senior Terrell Taylor scored 11 points and dished 2 assists.

What's Next:
