Eureka, Ill. – The Dominican University men's basketball team traveled to Eureka College to face off against the Red Devils on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened:
-After a back-and-forth first five minutes of the game, the Stars found themselves down 20-10 after the 11-0 run by Eureka.

Terrell Taylor had back-to-back buckets trying to cut into the Eureka lead. Fifth-Year
Andre Bennett contributed with back-to-back buckets, cutting the lead to just six points with 4 minutes left in the first half.
-The Stars went into the half down 37-29. DU shot 35% from the floor but only 22% from behind the three-point line and 50% from the charity stripe.

Camron Scott got Dominican going early with five of the first eight buckets for the Stars.
-Dominican was down 12 with nine minutes left to go in the game.
-Graduate student Robert Taylor got the DU within two points after two buckets on back-to-back possessions. This making the score 66-64.
-The Stars had to play the foul game in the final minute, where Senior
Daniel Nennig hit a big three-pointer to cut the deficit to just three.
-That would be the closest the game would get to in the final minute as a DU falls 83-79.
-Dominican shot 45% from the floor but only 10-22 from the free throw line. Leaving 12 points out on the court.
