River Forest, Ill.- The Dominican University men's basketball team hosted the Green Knights of St. Norbert College Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened:
-Dominican came out firing on all cylinders to start the game.
-The Stars shot a fantastic 48% from the field in the first half and lead for 16 minutes.
-DU went into halftime with a 32-23 halftime lead.
-Dominican had a slow start to the second half, allowing SNC to go on a 7-0 run. Cutting the DU lead to just 2 with 16 minutes left.
-The Stars went on their own 11-0 run to get the lead back up to 13.
-Dominican would let the lead get within 7 points the rest of the game.
-The Stars shot 36% from the field in the second half and lead the entire half.
-DU's largest lead was 67-52, and lead for 36 of the 40 minutes.
Shining Stars:
-Junior
Daniel Nennig had 16 points hitting 3 threes, and 7-8 at the charity stripe. Nennig also dished out 7 assists.
-Sophomore
Joshua West got back on track scoring wise with 14 points. West collected 7 rebounds as well.
-Senior
Robert Taylor chipped in with 10 points off the bench for the Stars.

What's Next:
The Dominican University men's basketball team will head on the road Wednesday night to face off against Lakeland University. Tip-off will be at 7:00 p.m.
