Chicago, Ill. - The Dominican University men's volleyball team traveled to Illinois Tech to face off against the Scarlet Hawks.

How it Happened:
-Dominican started off hot getting 14 kills on 26 attacks. Stars won the set 25-22.
-Junior
Jason Kougan led DU with 3 kills in the first set
-Dominican dominated in the second set winning 25-15. DU had 11 kills on 21 attacking attempts.
-Junior
Casey Goss was the work horse in the 2nd set with 6 of the 11 kills.
-In the third and final set Dominican were able to overcome 8 errors and win the set 25-21. The Stars had 12 kills in the set.

Aaron Marrs had 3 sets in the third set.

Casey Goss led the Stars with 12 kills, 2 services aces, and 4 digs.

What's Next:
The Dominican University men's volleyball team will be back in the Igini Sports Forum Tuesday night when the Stars will host the #19 Benedictine University Eagles. The match will begin at 6:00 p.m. Dominican will look to set the attendance record.
