RIVER FOREST, ILL. -The Dominican University men's soccer team hosted the Prairie Wolves of Nebraska Wesleyan University for the first match of Dominican Homecoming 2024.

How it Happened:
-DU would strike first at the 13 minute mark as SeniorÂ
John Cronnolly slotted a shot into the bottom right corner after a nifty pass from 5
th-year student Olek Melnyk.
-Nebraska Wesleyan would quickly anwer back 2 minutes later.
-The Stars would then execute an impeccable set piece from a corner as Melnyk cross to the back post was centered by 5
th-year student
Alex Espino and eventually put away by 5
th-year student Zach Gamster. The Stars would take the 2-1 lead into the halftime break.
-Dominican would extend their lead as Melnyk and Cronnolly were able to set up Urban in the 6 yard box at the 61 minute mark.
-The Prairie Wolves would get one back in the 82
nd minute.
-The Stars would be able to see out the 3-2 result, picking up their 3
rd win on the season.

John Cronnolly had 1 goal, 1 assist, and 9 shots with 4 of them on target during the match.

Paul Urban found the back of the net for the first time this campaign.
