AURORA, ILL. -The Dominican University men's soccer team were on the road to take on the Spartans of Aurora University for their first conference match of the year.

How it Happened:
-After a few early chances for the Stars, Aurora would strike first in the 22nd minute.
-In the 38th minute, DU would answer back after Senior
John Cronnolly fired home his 6th goal of the season from after 5th-year student
Oscar Montejano set up the chance.
-The sides would enter the half-time break deadlocked at 1.
-Both teams would trade shots on goal early in the second half in an effort to find a leading goal.
-The game would end in a 1-1 draw.
-Dominican had a total of 9 shots with 5 of them finding the target by the full-time whistle.

John Cronnolly was the only Star to find the back of the net in this contest, making 6 goals in 5 matches this season.

Oscar Montejano assisted on the lone Dominican goal and also added 2 shots with 1 of them finding the target.
