Box Score LAKE FOREST, ILL. -The Dominican University men's soccer team traveled to Lake Forest College to take on the Foresters for DU's final non-conference match up of the 2024 season. 

Results:
Dominican: 1 
Lake Forest: 1

How it Happened:
-After a flurry of shots from the Stars, Lake Forest would open the scoring in the 23rd minute.
-DU would keep up the offensive pressure, but would head into the halftime break trailing 1-0.
-In the 53rd minute, 5th-year student Oscar Montejano would fire home the equalizer off of an assist from 5th-year student Olek Melnyk.
-Both sides would trade chances during the 2nd half trying to break the tie.
-By the full-time whistle, the game would end at 1-1.
-Dominican had a total of 20 shots with 5 of them finding the target by the end of the match.

Shining Stars:
-5th-year student Oscar Montejano notched his 1st goal of the season and was the lone Dominican goal scorer.
-5th-year student Olek Melnyk tallied his 4th assist on the campaign on the Montejano marker and added 3 shots
-Senior John Cronnolly had 6 shots in the contest with 2 of them finding the target.
-Senior Shane Marinkovich finished the match with 2 saves.

What's Next:
Dominican will be back home on Wednesday, September 25th as they take on Benedictine University in a NACC match up. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
