Beloit, Wis. – The Dominican University women's volleyball team traveled to Beloit Wisconsin to take on the Buccaneers Thursday night.

How it Happened:
-Dominican came out ready to play right off the start. Winning the first set 25-17 and earning 13 kills in the set. DU was able to overcome 7 attacking errors.
-Senior
Mia Febles led the Stars in the set earning 6 kills.
-Dominican kept their foot on the gas winning the second set 25-20. They only collected 7 kills in the set.
-DU had 5 services aces in the set, 2 of them by Senior
Melissa Schmidt.
-The Stars closed the game with their best offensive set in the match. Earning 14 kills and only 3 attacking errors. Dominican won the set 25-17.

Ellery Shea had 4 kills in the set, including three of the first four of the set.

Ellery Shea led the Stars with 10 kills.

Mia Febles has continued her dominance with 9 kills and 3 service aces.

Melissa Schmidt had 5 service aces and 6 digs.

Adeleen Dunker led Dominican with 18 assists. Dunker also chipped in with 2 service aces and 10 digs.

What's Next:
The Dominican University women's volleyball team will now have a week off until their next match. The Stars will travel to Benedictine University to open up NACC play on September 26
th. First serve will be at 6:00 pm.
