River Forest, Ill. – Dominican University Men's Volleyball welcomed defending National Champions California Lutheran to River Forest for their 2
nd meeting in as many weeks.

How it Happened:
-The Stars came out on fire, starting the match with a 6-0 lead off a run from Senior
Owen Morrow.
-DU would close out the 1
st set 25-21. Senior
Casey Goss registered 7 kills in the set on .500 hitting.
-Cal Lutheran would use a 1-6 run in the middle of Set 2 to take it 18-25 and square the match at one set a piece. Senior
Jason Kougan led Dominican with 4 kills in the frame.
-The Stars would use an opening 7-3 stretch and a 5-point run from Goss to outlast CLU in the 3
rd set, winning 25-20. Sophomore
Ty Geschke totaled 6 kills in the set.
-CLU would push the match to a 5
th Set after winning Set 4, 19-25. Senior
Owen Morrow had 9 assists and 4 digs.
-Dominican would fall behind in the 5
th set and drop it by, 11-15. Sophomore
Grant Henderson had 3 digs in the set, and Junior
Michael Greco added a solo block.
-DU hit .259 collectively in the match and had 66 kills to Cal Lutheran's 58.

Casey Goss led the Stars attack with 20 kills and added 7 digs and 2 blocks.

Ty Geschke notched 17 kills and 4 digs.

Tanner Dahman tallied 16 kills, 9 digs, 3 blocks, and an ace.

Owen Morrow distributed 56 assists in the loss.

Michael Greco had 7 blocks for DU.
