DU Prepares to Face-Off Against St. Norbert

River Forest, Ill. – Dominican University Men’s Basketball looks to make it five wins in a row as they are back at home to take on St. Norbert on Saturday.


Series History vs St. Norbert:

Dominican and St. Norbert first played on 11/17/2007, with the Stars emerging victorious in OT, 58-52.

All-Time Record / Streak: 2-5 / Dominican L1

Dominican dropped their last game to St. Norbert in De Pere, Wisconsin on 12/4/2024 by a final of 59-106. 

This is the 2nd meeting of two games between these two squads this season.

 

DU in Review:

-Dominican is looking to continue their largest win streak of the season to five games. The last time the Stars had a five-game win streak was during the 2012-13 season (January 9th, 2013 – January 23rd, 2013).

-DU has averaged 83.25 points per game over their four-game win streak compared to their opponents’ 69.5.

Last Time Out:

-The Stars defeated River Forest rivals Concordia University Chicago on the road, 82-74.

-Senior Terrell Taylor was the leading scorer for DU, collecting 19 points on 7-14 from the field off the bench.

-5th-year Student Camron Scott continues to fill the stat sheet, tallying 13 points and 12 blocks for his 7th double-double of the season.
 

Star Gazing:


-5th-year Student Camron Scott was awarded NACC Player of the Week for the week of January 19th. Scott tallied a total of 40 points and 18 rebounds over the two-game stretch.

-Graduate Student Robbie Taylor added 11 points on 4-6 from the field against CUC for his highest-scoring game since 12/21/24 where he notched 15 at Lawrence.

-Senior Terrell Taylor leads the Stars with 14.6 points per game this season.  
 

Scouting Report:


-St. Norbert College holds a 13-6 record and is 9-3 in conference play.    

-The Green Knights are 5-4 away from home this season.

-SNC is currently on a three-game win streak, achieving wins against Benedictine, IIT, and Marian.

-St. Norbert averages 74.5 points per game compared to their opponents’ 67.2.
