Stars Suffer Loss to Aurora

River Forest, Ill.- Dominican University Men's Basketball closed out a four-game road stint against the Spartans of Aurora University.

  Results:
  Dominican: 64
  Aurora: 98

  How it Happened:
  -Senior Terrell Taylor would collect the first points of the game for DU on the fast break.
  -The score would read 8-7 in favor of the Stars after a slam by 5th-year Student Camron Scott four minutes into the contest.
  -Aurora would then go on a 11-0 run, which was put to an end by Graduate Student Robert Taylor at the free throw line.
  -Senior Quante May would hit Dominican's first three of the half halfway through the frame with the score being 24-15 to the Spartans.
  -The Stars struggled with the efficiency of Aurora's shot making and would head into halftime down 55-32.
  -To start the 2nd half, T. Taylor and Senior Daniel Nennig would combine during a 7-2 Dominican run, cutting the Aurora lead to 19.
  -Freshman Manny Fuller would collect his first collegiate points down the stretch.
  -The Stars would fall by a final of 98-64. DU shot 39.3% from the field in the losing effort.

  Shining Stars:
  -Senior Terrell Taylor led the Stars in scoring with 13 points while adding 3 steals and 2 assists.
  -5th-year Student Camron Scott collected 10 points, 4 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 steals.
  -Senior Daniel Nennig added 7 points, 4 rebounds, and a steal.
  -Freshman Ismael Nidaye Matheu started his first collegiate game and totaled 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals.
