How it Happened:
-The match opened with the Stars grabbing a 4-0 lead thanks to Freshman
Karolina Stonkus and Senior
Lola Butler. Stonkus has a service ace and Butler had 2 kills.
-The Eagles absorbed that first run by DU and cruised to a 25-13 set one win. Dominican had 4 kills in the first set.
-Senior
Ellery Shea collected the first two kills in the set for the Stars in set, but that is all the offense they got only collecting 3 kills in the second set.
-Edgewood took a 2-set lead after winning the second set 25-9.
-DU fell behind Edgewood early in the third set but clawed their way back into the set thanks to Senior
Veronica Henkel, Butler and Shea. Henkel collected 5 kills in the set, Shea had 3 aces and a kill, and Butler added 2 kills and 2 aces.
-Dominican won the third set 25-16.
-The Eagles bounced back in a big way winning 25-13 in the fourth and final set.

Lola Butler led the Stars with 7 kills, 2 service aces, a block, and 6 digs.

Dominican University Women's Volleyball is now 2-13 (1-4 NACC) for the season. First serve is set for 6:00 p.m. and will be a PINK OUT inside the Igini Sports Forum.
