Men's Soccer Returns Home to West Campus Field After Three Straight Road Matches

River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University Men's Soccer team returns to West Campus Field hosting the Scarlet Hawks of Illinois Tech on Wednesday afternoon.

Series History vs. Illinois Tech:
All-Time Record / Streak: 6-0-1 / W2
-Dominican and Illinois Tech first played at West Campus Field on 10/24/2018 (W, 4-0).
-The Stars have scored 18 goals in 7 games against the Scarlet Hawks, which averages to 2.57 goals per match.
-DU's largest margin of victory over Illinois Tech was on 10/28/2023 (W, 6-1).

-Junior Ciaran Geraghty has anchored the backline for DU, leading the squad with 1170 minutes played.
-Freshman Cody Leyba has tallied 34 saves throughout the season.
-Senior Ryan Gutierrez has been a staple in the midfield with 2 goals and has started in all 12 matches. Gutierrez has 1022 minutes played.

-Sophomore Nathan Lara is back to don the Navy and Gold as the leading goal scorer among returners from last season with 2. Lara appeared in 6 matches and notched a start during the 2024 campaign.
