Stars Battle to a Draw at Wisconsin Lutheran

Milwaukee, Wis. – The Dominican University Men's Soccer team traveled to Wisconsin Lutheran for their final road game of the season.


Results:
Dominican: 0
Wisconsin Lutheran: 0

How It Happened:
-Freshman Rogelio Cisneros earned the first shot of the game for the Stars that came in the 10th minute, which was saved by the WLC keeper.
-This was the only shot of the half for DU; the Warriors collected 7 total shots in the first half, but the score was 0-0 entering the break.
-Dominican had a push to start the second half with shots from Sophomore Michael Rocha, Sophomore Joshua Trujillo, Junior Ciaran Geraghty, and Cisneros, all rifling shots at the net. Geraghty's shot was the only shot on target but was saved by the WLC keeper. These four shots came in the span from the 61st minute to the 62nd minute.
-Senior Ryan Gutierrez collected another shot for the Stars in the 74th minute.
-In the 87th minute of the game, Junior Nicholas Porada hit the crossbar from about 10 yards outside the box. This was the last chance for DU in the match.
-Dominican evened out the shots in the second half, collecting 6 shots in the half.

Shining Stars:
-Freshman Rogelio Cisneros picked up where he left off in his previous match, collecting 2 shots, with one of those being on target.
-Junior Ciaran Geraghty collected his only shot, which was on target.
-Junior Nicholas Porada hit the crossbar with his only shot of the match.
-Freshman Joshua Memmelaar picked up two saves in the match.
