River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University Women's Soccer team eyed a fourth win in a row to close out the regular season at Concordia Chicago on Wednesday.

How it Happened:
-In the 3
rd minute, Sophomore 
Ariana Barney whipped in a corner that was slotted home by Senior 
Mia Dosen to give the Stars an early 1-0 advantage.
-Senior 
Sarah Borsellino looked to extend the DU lead, but her shot on target in the 13
th minute was saved by CUC's keeper.
-Dosen was denied a second goal by the woodwork in the 17
th minute.
-In the 20
th minute, Senior 
Sierra Rioux had an effort on goal denied.
-The Stars continued to press for an insurance marker, with Junior 
Meghan Wilhite having a shot on target saved.
-Concordia Chicago equalized in the 36
th minute.
-Both squads would head into the halftime break knotted at 1-1.
-Dosen and Wilhite each had a shot on target saved by the Concordia Chicago keeper.
-In the 63
rd minute, Dosen tucked home her 2
nd of the match and 9
th of the season to take back the lead for Dominican.
-The Cougars pressed for another equalizer in the 84
th minute, but a save by Sophomore 
Gianna Stanek preserved the 2-1 lead for the Stars.
-Dominican walked out of Concordia Chicago with a 2-1 win while outshooting the Cougars 23-9.

Mia Dosen continued her scoring ways after not being fit to play on Saturday, picking up 2 goals, making it 5 goals in her last 2 games. Dosen also added 4 shots on target in 77 minutes.
-Sophomore 
Ariana Barney picked up an assist on the first Dosen goal and logged all 90 minutes.
-Senior 
Sierra Rioux registered 2 shots on target.
-Junior 
Meghan Wilhite posted 2 shots on target.
-Sophomore
