De Pere, Wis. – Dominican University Men's Volleyball traveled to St. Norbert to open their NACC slate against the Green Knights.

How it Happened:
-The Stars would use a 7-0 run from Senior
Jason Kougan to gain a 21-11 lead.
-DU would close out Set 1, 25-14. Kougan added 2 blocks along with his impressive run in the frame, and Senior
Tanner Dahman tallied 5 kills and an ace.
-Senior
Casey Goss would give Dominican a 7-3 advantage in the 2
nd set after a 4-0 run.
-The Stars then captured a two sets to none advantage by winning Set 2, 25-18. Goss totaled 4 kills and an ace in the set with Junior
Michael Greco chipping in 3 kills of his own.
-The 3
rd set saw each team knotted at 16, but a 5-1 run would set DU up to close out the match in a sweep by winning Set 3, 25-21.
-Sophomore
Ty Geschke registered 4 kills and Sophomore
Grant Henderson posted 9 digs in the final frame.
-Dominican hit .286 as a team compared to SNC's .043. The Stars also held the advantage in aces, 5-1.
Shining Stars:
-Senior
Tanner Dahman totaled 12 kills on .455 hitting while posting 2 aces.
-Senior
Casey Goss added 11 kills, 5 blocks, and 2 aces.
-Sophomore
Ty Geschke rattled off 11 kills and collected 10 digs in the win.
-Senior
Owen Morrow tallied 21 assists with Freshman
Landon Kassulke notching 15 of his own.
-Sophomore
Grant Henderson posted 16 digs, a new career-high.

What's Next:
Dominican University Men's Volleyball improved to 3-5 on the season and is 1-0 in NACC play. The Stars will return on the road and head to North Central on Saturday, February 15
th for a non-conference tilt against the Cardinals. The match will begin at 3:00 p.m.
