Madison, Wis. – Dominican University Women's Basketball was on the road to face off against Edgewood College on Wednesday night.

How it Happened:
-Freshman
Danielle Washington connected from three to open the scoring.
-Another three from Washington would give DU the lead at 10-9 at the midpoint of the 1
st quarter.
-Freshman
Maya Kasuboski would hit Dominican's third three of the quarter before the end of the 1
st. The Stars would trail 14-26.
-Sophomore
Kaitlyn Milison would fight to get to the free-throw line to put an end to an Edgewood scoring run.
-Junior
Niah Williams would get a lay-up to stop a 0-9 Eagles run. The Stars would head into half-time down 24-50.
-Dominican would continue to fight in the 3
rd quarter, as six different Stars players tallied at least 2 points in the frame. DU would head into the final quarter trailing 41-78.
-Despite eight points from Milison in the 4
th, Dominican would fall to Edgewood by a final of 57-97.
-The Stars shot 53.8% from three collectively, their highest mark on the season.
Shining Stars:
-Sophomore
Kaitlyn Milison posted season-highs with 15 points and 2 blocks.
-Freshman
Danielle Washington tallied 14 points and was 4-6 from deep.
-Graduate Student
Melissa Gomez collected 6 points and 6 rebounds.
-Sophomore
Lia Saunders totaled 6 points and 3 steals.
