River Forest, Ill. – Dominican University Men's Volleyball hosted No. 14 Aurora on Thursday.

How it Happened:
-Aurora would take a 2-7 lead to begin the 1
st set.
-The Spartans would take the first set 16-25. Senior
Tanner Dahman registered 4 kills on .800 hitting and added a block in the frame.
-AU would hold a 10-16 advantage in the middle of the 2
nd set.
-Despite a 5-0 run from Sophomore
Thomas Hirsch to level the set at 23-23, Aurora would claim Set 2, 24-26. Senior
Casey Goss notched 2 kills and a block in the 2
nd.
- DU would fight back in the 3
rd and take a 4-2 lead after a run from Senior
Jason Kougan. Dahman would then add a 6-0 run later in the set and the Stars would extend the match after winning Set 3, 25-18.
-The Spartans would take a 6-11 lead in the 4
th and claim the 4
th set 17-25. Senior
Aaron Marrs had 3 kills in the frame.
-Dominican out-blocked Aurora 9-8 in the match.
Shining Stars:
-Senior
Tanner Dahman paced the Stars with 8 kills while adding 4 blocks and 2 aces.

Aaron Marrs tallied 6 kills on .455 hitting.
-Sophomore
Thomas Hirsch collected 4 kills and 4 blocks.

Owen Morrow registered 23 assists and 4 digs.
