Madison, Wis. – Dominican University Men's Volleyball was back on the road at Edgewood College on Saturday.

How it Happened:
-DU would take a commanding 7-1 lead to begin the 1
st set after a run from Freshman
Kendall Esparza.
-The Stars would have no issue closing out the set 25-12. Freshman
Landon Diaz posted a kill and 4 blocks with Sophomore
Ty Geschke collecting 3 kills and 4 blocks of his own.
-After an even start to Set 2, Dominican would pull away in the middle of the set, taking a 19-12 lead.
-DU would win the 2
nd set, 25-16. Esparza and Geschke combined for 10 kills in the frame.
-The Stars would take a 10-7 lead in the 3
rd set after a 3-0 run from Geschke.
-Dominican would complete the sweep by taking Set 3, 25-19. Junior
Michael Greco registered 2 solo blocks in the final frame.
-DU hit .319 collectively compared to Edgewood's -.045. The Stars also had their best blocking performance since April 15
th, 2022, against North Central, posting 17 total blocks.
Shining Stars:
-Sophomore
Ty Geschke led the Stars attack with 13 kills on .500 hitting. Geschke also notched 8 total blocks and an ace.
-Freshman
Kendall Esparza totaled 9 kills on .533 hitting.
-Freshman
Landon Diaz tallied a career-high 10 blocks in the win.
-Freshman
Landon Kassulke dished 23 assists.
-Senior
Aaron Marrs paced the DU defense with 8 digs.

What's Next:
Dominican University Men's Volleyball moves to 6-7 on the season and is 3-1 in NACC play. The Stars will return home for a span of three matches in two days. The first match will be on Friday, March 7
th, against Wabash College with a 7:00 p.m. start.
