Stars Cannot Complete Comeback at Wisconsin Lutheran

River Forest, Ill.- Dominican University Men's Basketball looked to bounce back at No. 8 Wisconsin Lutheran on Wednesday.

  Results:
  Dominican: 90
  Wisconsin Lutheran: 93

  How it Happened:
  -To start the contest, the Stars would go toe-to-toe with the Warriors, as Senior Terrell Taylor would knock down a jumper to bring the score to 11-13.
  -Junior Adrian Pelszynski connected from three for DU's first three-pointer of the evening to keep Dominican with four, 16-20.
  -After a strong stretch from T. Taylor, including two jumpers and a steal, the Stars would head into halftime down 36-42.
  -Junior Dominic Crapia would drill a three at the start of the 2nd quarter to bring the score to 41-44.
  -Midway through the 2nd, the Warriors would jump out to a 49-60 lead.
  -A run down the stretch sparked by Graduate Student Robbie Taylor, Senior Andre Bennett, and Senior Daniel Nennig would see DU leading 75-74 with three minutes remaining.
  -WLC would regain the lead and protect it despite efforts from 5th-year Student Camron Scott and Dominican.
  -DU would foul to gain an extra possession, but the Warriors would make their free throws in the closing moments.
  -The Stars would fall by a final of 90-93. T. Taylor scored 19 of his 27 points in the 2nd half.

  Shining Stars:
  -Senior Terrell Taylor posted a career-high 27 points and added 6 rebounds and 2 steals.
  -Junior Adrian Pelszynski totaled 16 points and was 4-5 from three.
  -Graduate Student Robbie Taylor registered 14 points, 5 rebounds, a steal, and a block.
  -Senior Daniel Nennig finished with 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.
