River Forest, Ill. – No. 19 Dominican University Men's Volleyball was back at home to take on No. 6 Carthage College for KP's NCAA DIII Game of the Week.

How it Happened:
-The Stars would fall behind 4-10 in the first set after a 0-4 run from Carthage.
-DU would be unable to come back in the 1
st with the final being 17-25. Sophomore
Ty Geschke led Dominican with 3 kills in the frame.
-Carthage would use a 0-4 run to take a 7-17 lead in the middle of Set 3.
-The Stars dropped the 2
nd set despite a late surge, 20-25. Senior
Casey Goss tallied 2 kills and an ace in the set.
-Strong serving from Senior
Aaron Marrs led Dominican to a win in Set 3, 25-22. Geschke had 4 kills and 2 blocks in the 3
rd.
-The Firebirds would rattle off a 0-10 run in the 4
th to take the set and the match, 13-25. Senior
Tanner Dahman hit .500 with 4 kills in the final frame.
-DU and CC had four aces each in the contest.
Shining Stars:
-Sophomore
Ty Geschke paced the DU attack, totaling 12 kills.
-Senior
Casey Goss added 10 kills, 14 digs, and 2 aces.
-Senior
Tanner Dahman tallied 7 kills on an efficient .462 hitting percentage.
-Freshman
Landon Kassulke contributed 23 assists in the loss.
-Junior
Tyler Vrska posted 7 digs.

What's Next:
Dominican University Men's Volleyball falls to 2-5 on the season. The Stars will be back in action on Tuesday, February 11
