Milwaukee, Wis. – Dominican University Men's Volleyball traveled to Milwaukee to take on the Warriors of Wisconsin Lutheran.

How it Happened:
-The Stars would fall behind early 7-1 and drop the 1
st set, 25-16. Sophomore
Ty Geschke tallied 4 kills in the opening frame.
-DU took a 12-6 lead in Set 2, but the Warriors would storm back and take the 2
nd, 27-25. Senior
Tanner Dahman collected 3 kills and 2 digs in the set.
-Both teams would be knotted at 12 to start the 3
rd set, but a 6-0 run from Freshman
Landon Kassulke led Dominican to take the 3
rd set, 25-21. Freshman
Kendall Esparza totaled 4 kills and 2 digs in the 3
rd.
-A late 7-0 run from Sophomore
Thomas Hirsch led the Stars to square the match at two sets a piece, claiming Set 4, 25-16. Geschke posted 6 kills in the frame.
-Hirsch would start the 5
th set with a 4-0 lead for DU.
-The Stars would complete the reverse sweep, winning the 5
th set, 15-9. Geschke and Esparza combined for 9 kills in the final frame.
-The five-set win marks the first time the Stars have come back down two sets.
Shining Stars:
-Sophomore
Ty Geschke posted a career-high 26 kills on .426 hitting along with an ace, two blocks, and 5 digs.
-Freshman
Kendall Esparza totaled 15 kills, an ace, and 7 digs.
-Senior
Tanner Dahman notched 12 kills and 9 digs.
-Freshman
Landon Kassulke collected 54 assists and 14 digs in the win.

What's Next:
Dominican University Men's Volleyball improved to 12-8 on the season and is 8-1 in NACC play. The Stars will continue on the road on Saturday, March 29
th to face the Milwaukee School of Engineering. The first serve is at 1:00 p.m.
