Dominican Drops Match to Raiders

Milwaukee, Wis. – Dominican University Men's Volleyball was back in Milwaukee, this time to take on the Milwaukee School of Engineering in a big match for NACC tournament seeding.
 
 Results:
  MSOE: 3
  Dominican: 0

  How it Happened:
  -After falling behind 12-5 in the first set, Senior Owen Morrow would rattle off a 5-0 run to bring the Stars to within two.
  -The Stars fell short in the first set, 25-22. Sophomore Ty Geschke posted 6 kills in the frame along with Morrow totaling 2 aces.
  -Set Two would see a tight start between the two teams, with the score tied at 10-10.
  -A 5-0 run from MSOE would lead them to a win in the second set, 25-20. Senior Tanner Dahman tallied 6 kills in the second, with Sophomore Thomas Hirsch collecting 2 blocks.
  -The Raiders would storm out to a 10-3 lead in Set Three.
  -Despite Dominican fighting back to make the score 16-15, MSOE would complete the sweep, winning the third set, 25-21. Dahman and Senior Jason Kougan combined for 6 kills and 3 blocks in the final frame.
  -DU finished with 39 digs compared to MSOE's 38.
 
  Shining Stars:
  -Sophomore Ty Geschke posted a team-high 16 kills along with 6 digs.
  -Senior Tanner Dahman tallied 13 kills on .407 hitting on top of 2 blocks.
  -Junior Tyler Vrska totaled 13 digs in the defeat.
  -Senior Owen Morrow notched 30 assists and 2 aces.

  What's Next:
  Dominican University Men's Volleyball fell to 12-9 on the season and is now 8-2 in NACC play. The Stars will have their final road match of the regular season on Wednesday, April 2nd at Concordia University Chicago. The match will start at 7:00 p.m.
