Mequon, Wis. – Dominican University Baseball traveled to Concordia University Wisconsin for their first NACC road games of the season.
Game 1 Results:

How it Happened:
-CUW opened the scoring with 3 runs in the bottom of the 1
st inning.
-DU got a run back at the top of the 3
rd after Junior
Matthew Earley scored on an error.
-The Falcons would tack on 6 more runs in the bottom of the 3
rd to make it 9-1.
-A single by Junior
Zach Helein would score Senior
Braiden Galvin and make it a 9-2 ballgame in the top of the 4
th.
-CUW then homered in the bottom of the 4
th to extend their lead to 12-2.
-Earley hit a solo shot to left center in the top of the 5
th.
-The Falcons added 8 more runs between the bottom of the 5
th and 6
th to win game one, 20-3.

Zach Helein went 2-4 with an RBI.

Matthew Earley finished 1-3 with a home run and 2 runs scored.

-CUW would homer twice in the first 3 innings, taking an early 4-0 lead.
-Senior
CJ Kalekas would score on a fielder's choice in the top of the 5
th.
-The Falcons would add two more runs in the bottom of the 5
th, making the score 6-1.
-In the top of the 7
th, Junior
Tyler Johnson would single up the middle and score Sophomore
Ty Phillips, bringing the Stars within 4.
-Following another two runs from Concordia Wisconsin, Junior
Niko Krecu would single through the infield and bring home Junior
Matthew Earley. The Stars would fall in Game Two, 8-3.

Tyler Johnson finished 2-4 with an RBI and a walk.
