River Forest, Ill. – Dominican University Men's Volleyball hosted fifth-seed Marian University for the Quarterfinal of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament.

How it Happened:
-Dominican jumped out to a 9-6 lead in the first set after a 4-0 run from Senior
Casey Goss, including an ace.
-After stumbling in the middle of Set 1, the Stars would regroup and take the first, 25-23. Junior
Michael Greco closed the first set with 2 kills and 2 blocks.
-DU captured a 7-1 lead in the beginning of the first set, as Greco and Goss combined for 2 kills and 2 blocks in a four-point span.
-The Stars then took a commanding 2-0 lead in the match after winning Set 2, 25-15. Sophomore
Ty Geschke posted 4 kills, 2 blocks, and 4 digs in the second.
-Marian continued to battle to start the third set, claiming a 14-11 advantage.
-Dominican fought back in Set 3, but fell short, 25-21. Senior
Aaron Marrs gave DU a spark off the bench, tallying 4 kills on 6 attempts.
-The fourth set saw the Stars re-establish themselves in the match, bolting out to a 10-3 lead.
-The Sabres then rattled off a 6-0 run from the line, bringing the match to a 13-12 DU lead.
-Down the stretch, a 5-0 run from Marrs, including three aces in a row, pushed Dominican to win the fourth set and the match, 25-18. Goss potted another 3 kills and a block in the final frame.
-The Stars finished with 9 blocks to Marian's 3, as well as 35 digs to the Sabres' 21.

Casey Goss notched a team-high 13 kills on .292 hitting along with 3 aces and 3 blocks.
-Junior
Michael Greco was a force at the net, collecting 8 kills on .899 hitting alongside 6 blocks.
-Sophomore
Ty Geschke posted 8 kills on .292 hitting on top of 2 aces, 3 blocks, and a team-high 10 digs.
-Senior
Owen Morrow distributed 38 assists.
-Senior
Aaron Marrs tallied 6 kills on .667 hitting and 3 aces.

What's Next:
Dominican University Men's Volleyball improved to 14-10 on the season and advance to the NACC Semifinal. The Semifinal will see the Stars travel to first-seed Aurora on Thursday, April 10
th. The match will begin at 7:00 p.m.
