There were 17 players from nine different schools and states as the team representation was coast to coast across the United States.
The USA D-3 Soccer Tour ran from May 26th through June 4th. The team began with orientation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on before flying to Sao Paulo, Brazil to play in the city of Jundiai on May 27th. They traveled to the city of Sao Paulo and played at the Pinheiros Clube on May 28th and then fly to Rio de Janeiro on May 29th. While in Rio, the team played a total of four matches.
The team experienced educational, cultural, and social aspects of Brazilian life through city, school, and sports club visits. While in Rio, the team stayed in the world-famous Copacabana Beach, toured the Christ the Redeemer Statue, Sugar Loaf Mountain, and The Maracana Stadium, three of the most recognizable landmarks in the world.
