River Forest, Ill. – Dominican University Women's Soccer looked to get back into the win column at home against the University of Dubuque on Saturday.

How it Happened:
-Senior
Kamryn Klinger had a good effort on goal denied by the Spartan's keeper in the 2
nd minute.
-In the 16
th minute, Senior
Sierra Rioux was denied from scoring range to keep the match knotted at 0-0.
-Dominican and Dubuque would head into the break scoreless. The Spartans outshot DU 4-2 in the first 45 minutes.
-Dubuque broke the deadlock in the 47
th minute and took a 1-0 lead.
-Searching for an equalizer, Sophomore
Ariana Barney had a shot on target saved by the Dubuque keeper.
-In the 75
th minute, after some great build-up play by Freshman
Liliana Arechiga and Rioux, Freshman
Logan Shanks finished the chance in front of goal for the Stars and tied the match up at 1-1.
-A scrappy end to the match could not separate the Stars and Spartans, with the contest ending at 1-1.
-DU closed the contest with 7 shots, 5 of them finding the target.
