Bloomington, Ill. – Dominican University Women's Soccer wrapped up its non-conference slate at Illinois Wesleyan on Monday.

How it Happened:
-To start the match, Sophomore
Gianna Stanek came up clutch for DU, making 4 saves in the first 15 minutes.
-Sophomore
Ariana Barney recorded the Stars' first shot on target in the 16
th minute.
-Stanek made 2 more saves to close out the first half with Dominican and Illinois Wesleyan tied at 0-0.
-Sophomore
Tia Garr had a chance saved by the Titan keeper to open the second half.
-As DU continued to press for the opener, Senior
Mia Dosen was able to slot home her first goal of the season unassisted.
-Dosen recorded another shot on target in the 77
th minute as the Stars looked to add an insurance marker.
-Dominican was able to shut the door on Illinois Wesleyan and see out the 1-0 win.
-This marks back-to-back clean sheet victories for DU.
-Both sides had no issue generating offense, as the Stars were outshot 22 to 16.
