Stars Stay Hot, Extend Streak to Four

De Pere, Wis. – Dominican University Women's Soccer was back on the road to take on St. Norbert on Saturday.

Results:

How it Happened:
-In the 6th minute, Senior Kamryn Klinger scored her second goal in as many matches after being set up by Senior Sierra Rioux.
-The Stars looked to add a second as Senior Natalia Lopez had a shot hit the woodwork in the 8th minute.
-Sophomore Tia Garr added two shots on target in the 13th and 18th minutes, but both were saved by the St. Norbert keeper.
-In the 34th minute, Rioux had a shot on target denied.
-Freshman Logan Shanks and Junior Meghan Wilhite fired shots on target but were unable to find the back of the net. The Stars took their 1-0 lead to halftime.
-Senior Mia Dosen slotted home her 2nd goal of the season in the 53rd minute, doubling Dominican's lead over the Green Knights.
-DU kept the pressure on St. Norbert, collecting shots on target in the 65th, 77th, 78th, and 81st minutes.
-Sophomore Gianna Stanek made a save on the only shot she faced as time expired.
-The Stars would walk away victorious by a final score of 2-0.
-This marks DU's fourth consecutive clean-sheet victory, a season high and the longest streak since 10/12/2024 – 10/23/2024.
-Dominican outshot the Green Knights 24-1.

  Shining Stars:
 -Senior Kamryn Klinger scored her 2nd goal of the season in what proved to be the game-winner.
-Senior Mia Dosen tagged on the insurance marker and had 2 shots.
-Senior Natalia Lopez was all over the pitch for DU, firing 5 shots, 3 of which found the target.
-Sophomore Tia Garr tallied 3 shots on target.
-Senior Sierra Rioux registered 3 shots and an assist.
