Box Score Fond Du Lac, Wis. – The Dominican University Men's Basketball team traveled to Marian University following their overtime loss on Wednesday night.

How it Happened:
- After his 34-point performance Sophomore
Frank Paszkowski got the scoring going for DU with a three in their first possession of the game.
-Dominican and Marian traded buckets after the made three. Freshman
Chase LeFevre and
Elijah Daugherty each collected two buckets in this stretch.
-The Sabres went on a 7-0 run towards the end of the first half, having a 25-18 lead with just under 6 minutes to play.
-Daugherty stopped that run with four straight points of his own, followed by a made three by Senior
Adrian Pelszynski and a bucket by Paszkowski that tied the game up at 27.
-Dominican and Marian would go into the halftime break all knotted up at 30. DU shot 44% from the floor and 33% from downtown.
-Junior
Dean O'Brien got the scoring rolling for the Stars in the second half with a made three.
-After this the Sabres caught fire, going on a 17-0 run, putting the score at 47-35. Daugherty stopped the Marian run with a layup just after the 8-minute gone in the half.
-Marian then went on a 12-0 run that put the nail in the coffin for the Stars, making the score 63-41 with five minutes to play.
-Daughtery hit back-to-back jumpers to cut the deficit, but it was not enough to ignite a comeback.
Shining Stars:
- Freshman
Elijah Daugherty had a huge bounce-back game for the Stars, scoring 19 points along with 5 rebounds. 4 of those were offensive rebounds.
-Sophomore
Frank Paszkowski collected 7 points and 4 rebounds.
-Senior
Adrian Pelszynski added 7 points and 2 rebounds.

What's Next:
The Dominican University Men's Basketball team moves to 1-13 (1-6 NACC) on the season. The Stars will finish up their two-game road split Wednesday night, with a NACC battle at Rockford University. Tip-off between Du and the Regents is set for 7 p.m.
