River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University Men's Basketball team hosted NACC-leaders St. Norbert for Alumni Day in the Igini Sports Forum on Saturday.

How it Happened:
-After St. Norbert got off to a 7-0 start, Sophomore
Braydon Murphy ended the run with DU's first three of the game.
-Sophomore
Emmanuel Fuller gave the Stars a jolt at the 9:22 mark of the first half after knocking down a three as Dominican trailed 16-8.
-Dominican began to claw back down the stretch of the first half, as Freshman
Elijah Daugherty cashed in on 3 trips to the free throw line.
-Two threes made late by Sophomore
Frank Paszkowski tied up the game at 25-25 heading into the break.
-The Green Knights opened the second half with another 7-0 run, which was ended by four points by Daugherty.
-Freshman
Joseph Jones began to strike from deep, recording a hat trick of threes in the span of two minutes as Dominican trailed 41-38.
-SNC then surged back out to a double-digit lead with a 7-0 run and led 48-38 with ten minutes remaining.
-The Stars battled to keep the game in reach with Daugherty and Murphy converting from the free throw line.
-With three minutes remaining, Paszkowski drilled his third triple of the afternoon and brought the Stars to within 7.
-DU could not complete the comeback and fell by a final score of 64-54.
-Dominican shot 31.4% from the field, 32.1% from three, and 86.7% from the line.

-Sophomore
Frank Paszkowski posted 16 points, including going 4-11 from three, alongside 3 blocks and 5 rebounds.
-Freshman
Elijah Daugherty poured in 16 points and was 10-11 from the free throw line. The Freshman also added 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
-Sophomore
Braydon Murphy collected 10 points and 6 rebounds.
-Freshman
Joseph Jones totaled 9 points and was 3-5 from deep.

What's Next:
The Dominican University Men's Basketball team moves to 1-15 (1-8 NACC) on the season. The Stars continue a four-game homestand on Wednesday, January 21
