River Forest, Ill- The Dominican University Women's Basketball team hosted the number one team in the conference Saturday afternoon, riding back-to-back wins and on Alumni Day.

How it Happened:Â
-The first quarter was a defensive affair, with St. Norbert going on an 11-0 run in the first seven minutes of the game.
-Junior
Lia Saunders earned the only points for DU of the quarter on a made three, assisted by Junior
Aya Deiri.
-Freshman
Xi Le O'Neill brought the energy off the bench for the Stars, hitting back-to-back threes, keeping the deficit at 11 points.
-The Green Knights went on a short run that was halted by buckets on back-to-back possessions, the first by Sophomore
Allannah Jackson and the second by Saunders.
-Dominican went into the breakdown 27-15, while shooting 20% from the floor in the first two quarters.
-After a layup by SNC to open the second half, Saunders hit a three to make the deficit 11 once again. This ignited a 10-1 run by St. Norbert, making the score 39-19 with 5 minutes to play in the third.
-Freshman
Eva Herbig ended the run by hitting a three; O'Neill followed it up with her third made three of the afternoon.
-The Green Knights hit back-to-back threes to open the fourth, making their lead 28.
-DU tightened up defensively, holding SNC scoreless for the next 6 minutes of play.
-Freshman
Emily Bouaphanh scored 8 points in the fourth quarter.
-The Stars won the 4
th quarter 13-10 and held St. Norbert to 21.4% shooting from the floor.

Xi Le O'Neill had her best game in a DU uniform, scoring 9 points on 3-4 shooting from deep. O'Neill also grabbed 2 steals.
-Junior
Lia Saunders added 9 points to her name, alongside 4 rebounds and 2 assists.
-Freshman
Emily Bouaphanh scored all her points in the final quarter, shooting 3-4 from the floor and scoring 8 points.
