River Forest, Ill. – Dominican athletics had a busy week with Women's soccer and Women's volleyball each competing in 3 games, Men's soccer competing in 2, and cross-country back in action at Augustana.

Men's Soccer hit the road this past week for both of their matches. The Stars started the week losing back-to-back matches and looking to get back into the win column at Illinois Tech and Lakeland University. At Illinois Tech, the Stars fell 2-1. The first half was scoreless, before the Scarlett Hawks scored two goals 8 minutes apart in the later stages of the half. Senior Tristen Banquil scored the lone Dominican goal in the 86th minute of the match. The Stars then hit the road to Lakeland University this past Saturday, where they got a huge point in the conference standings. The final was 0-0, and they collected 5 shots in the match against the Muskies. DUMSOC will be back in action this week as they play at Benedictine University on Wednesday night. In the final match of the week, Women's soccer returned to West Campus Field to play non-conference opponent North Park. Senior Meghan Wilhite scored for the Stars on 3 shots on goal. Dominican would win 1-0 over the Vikings. DUWSOC will be looking to continue that momentum to this week, as they host Benedictine on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. In the second match of the week, the Stars will welcome Wisconsin Lutheran on Senior Day. The kickoff will be at 2:45 p.m. All the senior day activities will be at the conclusion of the match.
