Lisle, Ill. – The Dominican University Women's Volleyball team headed to Benedictine University for a NACC battle on Thursday night.

How It Happened:
- The Eagles got out to a 5-1 lead. This is where Sophomore
Olivia Pollak earned the first kill of the match for DU.
-BenU had a 15-8 lead, and the Stars stormed back with a 5-1 run that made the score 16-13. Senior
Kathryn Ksiezak had two kills during this run.
-Benedictine ended the first set on a 9-3 run that gave them a 25-16 set, one win. Ksiezak collected 4 kills in the set.
-Pollak earned back-to-back kills early in the second set that tied the set up at 3.
-The Eagles pushed out to a 13-7 lead in the middle portion of the set by acing DU twice in a 4-0 run.
-Pollak continued rolling in the set, earning 6 kills in this set, but it wasn't enough for Dominican as they fell 25-17.
-In the third and final set, BenU jumped out to a 5-1 lead that grew to 8-2 shortly after.
-Ksiezak collected two kills in the set, but DU fell 25-14 in the set.
-The Stars collected 25 kills in the match.

Kathryn Ksiezak collected 7 kills on 20 attacks while hitting .200 in the match.

Olivia Pollak added 7 kills with 10 assists and 10 digs.
