River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University Women's Basketball team hosted NACC-leaders Wisconsin Lutheran for Senior Day on Saturday.

How it Happened:
-Junior
Teagan Dahl kicked off the scoring for DU with a baseline jumper, followed by a layup by Sophomore
Allannah Jackson to give the Stars an early 4-3 lead.
-After the Stars fell behind, two free throws by Freshman
Kennedy Yost knotted the score at 7-7.
-Wisconsin Lutheran ended the quarter on a 6-1 run and took a 13-8 lead into the second.
-Yost started the second quarter with a layup, but WLC countered with a 7-0 run.
-Junior
Kaitlyn Milison ended the scoring drought for the Stars and brought the deficit back to single digits, reading 20-12 halfway through the second quarter.
-The Stars would continue to fight throughout the second half, with Jackson and Junior
Lia Saunders scoring in the paint, but Dominican ultimately trailed 36-20 heading into the break.
-A 6-0 run to start the third quarter for the Warriors was ended by a pull-up jumper by Freshman
Emily Bouaphanh.

Eva Herbig knocked down Dominican's first three of the game at the midpoint of the third quarter, with the Stars behind 46-26.
-Jackson and Saunders would finish off tidy plays at the rim, but DU fell behind 60-31 heading into the final frame.
-To open the fourth, Jackson and Yost converted on a pair of layups for Dominican.
-Senior
Kamila Gajkowska recorded back-to-back buckets in the waning moments of the fourth quarter.
-The Stars would drop their final home contest of the regular season by a final score of 80-47.
-Dominican shot 29.8% from the field, 11.8% from three, and 45.8% from the line.
