Milwaukee, Wis. – The Dominican University Softball team was back and ready to roll for their second straight series on the road.

How it Happened:
-The offense for both teams started slowly, with the first hit of the game not coming until the bottom of the second inning. Sophomore starting pitcher
Hannah Richards kept her stranded on second base, keeping the score at 0-0.
-Sophomore
Raegyn Davis got Dominican's first hit in the game on a single to right field in the top of the fourth inning.
-The Stars and Raiders had an old-fashioned pitcher's duel, until Freshman
Charlie Harris hit her first collegiate homerun and made the score 1-0 in favor of DU in the top of the 5
th inning.
-Harris added the next two runs for Dominican with an RBI single to centerfield, scoring Freshman
Adison Hasse and Senior
Leilani Guzman, giving the Stars a 3-0 lead going to the bottom of the 7
th.
-Richards ended the game in the circle for the Stars, going 7 scoreless innings, while earning her 5
th win of the season as a starter.
Shining Stars:
-Freshman
Charlie Harris earned Star of the Game, going 2-3 with 3 RBIs, a run scored, and hitting her first collegiate homerun to give Dominican their third straight win.
-Sophomore
Hannah Richards has continued to be fantastic in the circle, going 7 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts.

How it Happened:
-The second game started like the first, with neither team scoring in the first two innings.
-The first run of the game came in the top of the third inning with Sophomore
Raegyn Davis hitting an RBI single to centerfield, scoring Sophomore
Kayla Amormino. The inning continued with Junior
Emme Slavens hitting a three-run bomb, scoring Freshman
Erin Kelleher and Rae. Davis.
-DU took a 4-0 lead into the bottom of the third inning.
-Sophomore starting pitcher
Rhiannon Rubio kept the momentum in the Stars dugout, getting the Raiders to go 1-2-3 in the bottom of the third.
-Sophomore
Isabella Olmos added a run for Dominican in the fourth inning by hitting an RBI single to third base that scored Sophomore
Madisen Butler.
-MSOE got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fourth inning by hitting a solo homerun to make the score 5-1 going to the 5
th.
-DU got that run and more at the top of the 5
th inning by putting up a 5-spot.
-The inning started with Freshman
Charlie Harris walking on four pitches, which brought up Butler, who hit her first collegiate homerun, scoring Harris. Dominican was not done there with Junior
Alyssa Craig following it up with a single and Freshman
Kendall Parker reaching on an error to put two runners on for Senior
Paytin Salfi. Salfi hit her second homerun of the season, a three-run shot that gave Dominican a 9-run lead.
-Junior
Liberty Rivard came in and closed the game out for the Stars and ensured four straight wins for DU softball.

Paytin Salfi earned Star of the Game, going 2-3 with a homerun, 3 RBIs, a run scored, and a walk.
-Sophomore
Madisen Butler swung a hot bat, going 2-3 with a homerun, a double, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored.
-Junior
Emme Slavens has been incredible in the DP spot, going 2-3 with 3 RBIs, a homerun, and a run scored.
-Sophomore
Rhiannon Rubio earned her third win of the season, going 4 innings with a strikeout.
