River Forest, Ill.—Men's Volleyball finished the first half of their season and heads into spring break with a winning record. Dominican Baseball and Softball head to Florida for their spring break trips looking to gain momentum into their conference schedule.
Men's Volleyball jumped out of the AVCA Division III MVB poll but had a chance to possibly jump back in the rankings with a win at Division Street rival, Concordia University of Chicago. CUC earned a set 1 win before Dominican won three straight sets. Sophomore Kendall Esparza earned 19 kills while hitting,326. The Stars will play Illinois Institute of Technology in the Igini Sports Forum on March 12
th, at 7:00 p.m., after that DUMVB will travel to #3 Carthage College on March 14
th for a first serve at 3:00 p.m.
For the first time in program history, Dominican University Baseball was receiving votes in the D3 Baseball National Rankings. After going 3-0 in Danville, Kentucky, the Stars headed to Florida for their spring break trip for 8 games in 7 days.

Stars of the Week for the week of March 2nd to March 6th:
Junior Liberty Rivard of the Dominican Softball Team took home Women's Star of the Week Honors. Rivard threw 6 innings in DU's first win of the season. The junior starter picked up 4 strikeouts in the win.
Senior Ricky Powell of the Dominican University Baseball Team took home Men's Star of the week Honors. Powell went 3 for 9 with 3 RBIs and a run scored with a double and a walk in the first three games in Florida for the Stars.
