River Forest, Ill.—The Dominican University Men's Soccer program returns to West Campus Field on Wednesday, after their first road match of the season this past Saturday.
Series History vs. MSOE:
All-Time Record /Streak/: 22-9-1/L3
-The first time these two schools played was on September 24
th, 2005, at West Campus Field, with Dominican winning 3-0.
-The Stars won the first 13 matchups in this series. Two of those matches went into extra time and the final score was 2-1 in both matches.
-MSOE has the upper hand on DU in the last 10 matchups, with Dominican's record being 3-6-1.
-The Stars are 14-3-1 at West Campus Field against the Raiders.

Erick Baumann enters his 32nd season at the helm of the Dominican Men's Soccer program. Baumann has amassed an impressive 470-127-54 (.763) record in that time. Coach Baumann is coming off his first ever losing season as Dominican University men's soccer head coach.

-Senior
Tristen Banquil is back in a Stars kit for his senior season and is looking to make a last impact on the DUMSOC program. Banquil is coming off a season where he played and started in 17 matches while scoring 5 goals on 16 shots on goal in his 1257 minutes.
-Junior
Jonathan Almaguer returns to DU in his third season after having a great sophomore campaign. Almaguer played in 19 matches and started 14 of those matches, while registering 3 goals and 4 assists from the midfield. The junior is looking to improve for a third straight season.
-Senior
Ciaran Geraghty returns as a big part of the Stars backline. Geraghty started in 18 matches last season while marking 1620 minutes on the pitch. The senior from Scottsdale, AZ, also logged an assist with six shots over the course of the season.
-Sophomore
Enzo Cinque came on strong for Dominican as a key player off the bench and is looking to solidify a bigger role on this squad. Cinque scored 4 goals on 24 shots in his 18 matches played in his freshman year.
-Sophomore
Rogelio Cisneros stepped up when DU struggled on the offensive side of the ball, scoring 2 goals with 2 assists in his 13 matches played.
-Sophomore
Cody Leyba returns between the posts this upcoming season. Leyba started in 5 matches last season but played in 9. The sophomore made 21 saves and held a 7-1 record in his freshman season.
Last Time Out:
-Dominican fell in their first road contest of the season, losing 2-0 to Lake Forest.

Jonathan Almaguer led his team with 2 shots and 1 shot on goal.

Scouting Report:
-MSOE is 1-3-1 on the 2026 season after losing their first three matches.
-The Raiders are 0-2 on the road.
-MSOE beat Nebraska Wesleyan and drew Wartburg in their last two matches. They lost to UW Eau-Claire, North Central, and North Park.
-Last season the Raiders went 14-6-3 overall with an 8-3-1 conference record while going 8-4-1 on the road.
-MSOE ended Dominican's season in the NACC quarterfinal matchup last year. The Raiders won the NACC and played UW Eau Claire in the NCAA National Tournament, where their season came to an end at Macalester College.
-In the NACC tournament MSOE beat #5 Dominican, #1 Edgewood, and #2 Aurora to get to the NCAA Tournament.
-In 2025 the Raiders scored 61 goals while only allowing 19 goals. They fired off 341 shots, with 167 of those shots being on frame.
