Rockford, Ill. – The Dominican University Men's Soccer team traveled to Rockford University for a midweek conference match-up.

How It Happened:
-Senior
Tristen Banquil had Dominican's first shot of the game in the 18
th minute, Banquil's shot missed left.
-Sophomore
Enzo Cinque got the ball and an opportunity to get the Stars on the board but missed high. DU got an opportunity again with Graduate Student
Cole Wood lining up the shot but missed high. Cinque fired again and missed left.
-Dominican kept pushing with Banquil having the first shot on target of the game, but the attempt was saved by the Regents' goalkeeper.
-The Regents got the ball to start the second half, where they connected with a shot on target that was saved by Junior
Roberto Navarro Mercado. Banquil got another chance to take the lead after a Rockford foul, his shot on target was saved by the goalkeeper.
-DU continued to try to take the lead with shots on target from Freshman
Eduardo Lopez and Junior
Jonathan Almaguer but couldn't find the back of the net. Navarro Mercado was clutch with a save in the 89
th minute to keep the score 0-0.
-Dominican outshot Rockford 11-6.

Tristen Banquil continues to lead his team offensively, Banquil had 4 shots with 2 shots on goal while recording 90 minutes.

Eduardo Lopez fired 3 shots with 2 on goal.
