River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University Men's Soccer team returned to West Campus Field for their homecoming matchup against the Green Knights of St. Norbert on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened:
-St. Norbert came out the gate firing, earning a shot in the first minute of the match and 3 shots in the first 12 minutes of the match.
-Dominican and SNC were feeling out the match for the middle portion of the first half until the Green Knights found their stride again in the 28
th minute with a shot and then the first goal of the match in the 35
th minute.
-The Stars went into the halftime break down 1-0 and did not record a shot in the first 45 minutes of action.
-DU found their way into the match as soon as the second half started, with Junior
Isaac Raygoza firing a shot on target that was saved by the SNC keeper.
-Senior
Tristen Banquil kept up the pressure not too long after taking a shot that was saved by the Green Knights keeper in the 52
nd minute.
-Graduate Student
Cole Wood continued to keep the momentum on the Dominican sideline with a shot of his own in the 58
th minute, but the St. Norbert goalie continued to make saves.
-Freshman
Angel Panora-Garcia earned his first shot of the game in the 81
st minute of play. Panora-Garcia's shot was on target but saved by the SNC keeper.
-The Stars fell 1-0, as their 6 shots and 4 shots on target in the second half were not able to overcome the Green Knights.
Shining Stars:
-Senior
Tristen Banquil earned himself a shot on target with two shots in the match.
-Junior
Isaac Raygoza collected 2 shots, with one of those shots being on the target.
-Freshman
Angel Panora-Garcia played meaningful minutes in the second half, where he recorded a shot on target.
-Graduate Student
Cole Wood played all 90 minutes in the midfield, earning a shot on target.
