River Forest, Ill.—The Dominican University Women's Soccer team turned their attention back to their conference schedule on Wednesday afternoon.

How it Happened:
-Dominican started rolling early with their first two shots of the match going into the back of the net. Senior
Meghan Wilhite scored the first goal with an assist from Graduate Student
Sierra Rioux. In the second goal, they switch with Rioux finding the back of the net and Wilhite assisting on the goal.
-The Stars kept up the pressure with three more shots. Junior
Presley Coles earned a shot, Rioux collected another shot, and Freshman
Kaylie Reeve added a shot that was saved by the Rockford keeper.
-Wilhite picked up her second goal of the match in the 10
th minute of the game with Rioux and Reeve earning assists. The Stars held a 3-0 lead 10 minutes in.
-DU kept rolling with 9 shots in the next twenty minutes, with two of those shots hitting the woodwork.
-Freshman
Khloe Lopez scored her first collegiate goal in the 32
nd minute of the match on a rebound from a blocked shot.
-Freshman
Chloe Sikora found the back of the net for her first collegiate goal just three minutes later. Lopez and Freshman
Grace Durante picked up the assists on the goal.
-The Stars earned 5 shots in the final 9 minutes of the half, with one of those being on the target.
-Dominican went into the half with a 5-0 lead and 23 total shots in the first half.
-The offense still rolling on the DU sideline in the second half with 11 shots in the first 22 minutes of the second half. 4 of the 11 shots were put on target.
-Lopez picked up a brace in the 70
th minute of the match, burying her second goal of the game, Durante earned the assist on the goal.
-After two helpers, Durante found the back of the net in the 76
th minute of the match in her first game back since injury. Freshman
Sydney Ansburg earned her first collegiate assist on the goal.
-The Stars earned 19 shots in the second half and 42 shots in the 7-0 win. 16 of those shots found the target. Dominican also added 8 corner kicks in the match.

Khloe Lopez earned Star of the Match as she scored her first collegiate goal in this one. Lopez overall collected 2 goals and an assist, with 3 shots on target.

Meghan Wilhite has continued to be an offensive powerhouse for this squad, scoring 2 goals and adding an assist in this afternoon's match. Wilhite also collected 2 shots on goal.

Sierra Rioux has been an incredible leader for this team, and tonight she earned a goal and two assists.

What's Next:
Dominican University Women's Soccer moves to 4-2-2 on the season and 2-1-0 inside the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference. The Stars will wrap up their three-game home stand on Homecoming Saturday, as the Green Knights of St. Norbert come to town. This will be the second match of the doubleheader, and the first kick is scheduled to be at 2:45 p.m.
