River Forest, Ill.—The Dominican University Men's Soccer team will return to West Campus Field after back-to-back road conference matches. The Stars will host St. Norbert on homecoming for their return to back to West Campus Field.

Series History vs. St. Norbert:
All-Time Record /Streak/: 8-0-2/W1
-The first time these two schools played was on October 1^st, 2006, at West Campus Field. The Stars won 2-0.
-The first four matches were non-conference matches between the Stars and Green Knights.
-Dominican won the first three matches in this series 2-0.
-St. Norbert joined the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in 2021. DU and SNC have played each other every year since joining the conference. While being conference foes, Dominican's record is 4-0-1.
-The Stars have scored 22 goals against the Green Knights and average 2.2 goals per match. DU has only given up 6 goals since playing SNC.

DU in Review: 
-DUMSOC holds a 3-1-2 record so far in the 2026 season, with a 1-0-2 conference record. They are also 2-0-1 at West Campus Field.
-Dominican finished the 2025 season with a 7-8-4 record, including going 7-3-2 in the conference and 5-3-2 at home. 
-The Stars notched the fifth seed in the NACC Tournament and fell on the road at MSOE in the NACC quarterfinal matchup. 
-Head Coach Erick Baumann enters his 32nd season at the helm of the Dominican Men's Soccer program. Baumann has amassed an impressive 470-127-54 (.763) record in that time. Coach Baumann is coming off his first ever losing season as Dominican University men's soccer head coach. 
 
Familiar Faces: 
-Senior Tristen Banquil is back in a Stars kit for his senior season and is looking to make a last impact on the DUMSOC program. Banquil is coming off a season where he played and started in 17 matches while scoring 5 goals on 16 shots on goal in his 1257 minutes. 
-Junior Jonathan Almaguer returns to DU in his third season after having a great sophomore campaign. Almaguer played in 19 matches and started 14 of those matches, while registering 3 goals and 4 assists from the midfield. The junior is looking to improve for a third straight season. 
-Senior Ciaran Geraghty returns as a big part of the Stars' backline. Geraghty started in 18 matches last season while marking 1620 minutes on the pitch. The senior from Scottsdale, AZ, also logged an assist with six shots over the course of the season. 
-Sophomore Enzo Cinque came on strong for Dominican as a key player off the bench and is looking to solidify a bigger role on this squad. Cinque scored 4 goals on 24 shots in his 18 matches played in his freshman year. 
-Sophomore Rogelio Cisneros stepped up when DU struggled on the offensive side of the ball, scoring 2 goals with 2 assists in his 13 matches played. 
-Sophomore Cody Leyba returns between the posts this upcoming season. Leyba started in 5 matches last season but played in 9. The sophomore made 21 saves and held a 7-1 record in his freshman season. 
 
Last Time Out: 
-The Stars earned a point in the conference standings after they drew with the Regents of Rockford University on Wednesday afternoon.
-Senior Tristen Banquil continues to lead his team offensively, Banquil had 4 shots with 2 shots on goal while recording 90 minutes.
-Sophomore Eduardo Lopez fired 3 shots with 2 on goal.
-Junior Jonathan Almaguer had a shot and a shot on goal while recording 90 minutes.
-Junior Roberto Navarro Mercado had 3 saves on the day.

Shining Stars:
-Senior Tristen Banquil will take this team where they need to go, as he is the motor of this team. Banquil on the year has 2 goals and 3 assists. Along with 25 shots and 11 of those being on target.
-Sophomore Eduardo Lopez has come on strong for this squad this season, collecting 2 goals and an assist. Lopez also has 8 shots, with 5 of those being on target.
-Sophomore Enzo Cinque picked up right where he left off after his freshman season, scoring 2 goals on 9 shots.
-Junior Jonathan Almaguer has played a big part in the middle of the pitch for the Stars and collected an assist with 9 shots, 4 of those finding the net.
-Freshman Alexander Julian Garcia has started 4 matches in the net for Dominican and has made 6 saves, only allowing 1 goal in his 270 minutes this season.
-Junior Roberto Navarro Mercado has made some big saves in net and has made 16 on the season in his 270 minutes played.
 
Scouting Report: 
-St. Norbert 3-3-3 on the 2026 season had is currently 1-1-1 inside the NACC.
-Green Knights are 1-2-2 on the road this season.
-SNC has played Marian (W, 1-0), Illinois Tech (L, 2-0), and Wisconsin Lutheran (T, 1-1) as conference matches.
